How LIVE Brick Mosaics™ Work
1. Design & Planning
Tell us the event, the room time, the expected attendance, and what you want the finished image to show. Our design team works closely with your team to create the perfect image design, size, and layout. You’ll receive mockups, branding integration options, and a finalized mosaic plan for sign-off.
2. Fabrication
We sort the bricks by color into labeled bins, number the sections, print the instruction cards, and pack the kit.
3. On-Site Setup
Our master builders will be on-site to manage setup, guide attendees in the construction, and keep energy high!
4. Live Event Experience
Guests or attendees build a small section and then place their tiles in designated sections using an intuitive system that makes participation fun and easy. As the mosaic fills in, the big picture is revealed.
5. Post-Event Delivery (Optional)
If you chose to purchase the finished mosaic, we can frame and ship the completed mosaic to your HQ — or reuse the bricks to build again at your next event.

LIVE LEGO® brick mosaic builds can be rented for a single event. The kit ships to you, your guests build it, and it comes back to our studio afterward.
If you want the finished mosaic in your lobby, office, or next booth, you can purchase it. We’ll frame it and ship it, or send a technician to mount it.

SAS Innovate 2026
SAS wanted to announce the next host city in a way attendees would keep coming back to. We designed a 5 x 3.7 foot mosaic split into 768 sections and more than 27,000 LEGO® bricks, and staged the instruction cards in five phases so the Las Vegas reveal landed near the end of the conference. SAS staff ran the build on-site with our remote support, and roughly 400 people joined in. In the words of the SAS on-site team, “People loved the activation and some got really into it, doing upwards of 20 tiles.”

Victory of the Lamb
The church launched its Mission Forward capital campaign with a vision-reveal night and wanted the congregation to build the centerpiece. We sized a 135-section, 75 x 45 inch mosaic to a 90-minute window, at two to five minutes per person, and delivered it as a self-run kit with color-sorted bins, instruction sheets, and 24/7 remote support. Afterward, our technician mounted the finished mosaic permanently in the lobby.

A photo mosaic wall prints each guest’s photo onto a tile. Brick mosaic walls have each guest build a section from LEGO® bricks, so guests spend more time at your booth and leave with a hands-on memory. The brick mosaic is also a solid piece you can keep or rebuild.

How far in advance should I book an event mosaic wall?
A standard small, medium, or large mosaic can be ready in about two weeks with a custom design. Fully custom activation work usually books two to three months ahead, and anything inside two months may carry a rush fee. Confirming your event dates early keeps the most options open.
How much does a brick-built event mosaic wall cost?
Every mosaic is quoted per project. The price depends on the length of the event and size and section count, whether Brick Built Models staffs it on-site or your team runs it from a kit, whether you rent it or purchase it to keep, and shipping. You can either rent or purchase the event mosaic wall. Renting for the event is a common option, and the kit comes back to the Brick Built Models studio afterward.
