Welcome to Brick Built Models. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) outline the rules and expectations for using our website and engaging with our services. By accessing our website or purchasing our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Services

Brick Built Models specializes in custom LEGO® brick installations designed to meet the unique needs of corporate clients. Our services include, but are not limited to:

  • Large-scale sculptures

  • Live Build Mosaics™ for events

  • Custom sets tailored to your branding

  • Office and retail centerpieces, such as branded LEGO® brick logos

We aim to deliver high-quality, innovative creations that align with your goals and specifications.

3. The Design and Build Process

Step 1: Consultation
We begin with a consultation to discuss your needs, ideas, and vision.

Step 2: Design Concept
We create design concepts with sketches, renderings, or sample models. Two rounds of revisions are included. Additional revisions may incur extra fees. Clients must provide relevant assets (e.g., branding guidelines, logos, event details) during this step.

Step 3: Approval and Production
Once approved, production begins—this includes sourcing parts and building the installation. Design changes after approval may cause additional costs or delays.

Step 4: Delivery and Installation
Completed projects are delivered to the agreed location. If installation is included, our team ensures a secure and professional setup. Clients are responsible for ensuring the site is accessible and safe for installation.

4. Client Responsibilities

Clients agree to:

  • Provide timely feedback during the design and approval phases

  • Supply assets (logos, brand files) in high-resolution formats when requested

  • Ensure that installation conditions are safe and accessible

5. Payment Terms

  • Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required to begin design work.

  • Payment Schedule: Full payment is due 5 days before delivery or installation.

  • Additional Charges: Requests made after production begins may lead to extra costs.

  • Failure to Pay: Non-payment may result in project delay or cancellation.

6. Cancellations and Refunds

  • Client Cancellations: If canceled after design work begins, payment is due for work completed to date.

  • Refund Policy: Deposits are non-refundable. Additional refunds are based on project progress.

  • Force Majeure: If unforeseen circumstances prevent completion, Brick Built Models will refund uncompleted work or offer alternative solutions.

7. Design Ownership and Intellectual Property

  • All preliminary concepts, sketches, and renderings remain the property of Brick Built Models unless agreed otherwise in writing.

  • Completed installations become the client’s property upon full payment.

  • Clients may not replicate, distribute, or modify Brick Built Models’ designs without prior written consent.

8. Revisions and Changes

Two rounds of design revisions are included. Additional revisions or post-approval changes may result in:

  • Extra fees

  • Adjusted project timelines

9. Timelines and Delivery

Project timelines are established during consultation.
Brick Built Models is not liable for delays caused by:

  • Shipping or supply issues

  • Weather or other external factors

  • Client delays in providing materials or approvals

10. Liability

Brick Built Models is not responsible for:

  • Damages or injuries caused by improper handling of the installation

  • Delays caused by third parties or external events

Our maximum liability is limited to the total amount paid for the project.

11. Use of Project Images and Marketing

By engaging with us, you grant Brick Built Models permission to take photos and videos and to use the content of completed installations and installations under development for marketing (website, social media, and portfolio).
If confidentiality is required, please notify us in writing before the project begins.

12. Changes to Terms

Brick Built Models may update these Terms at any time. Changes are effective upon posting to our website. Please review them periodically to stay informed.
